I I work from a warm, trauma-informed approach that prioritises your safety, choice and pace. Many of my clients come to me carrying experiences of childhood trauma, relationship wounds, burnout or long-term patterns of coping that no longer serve them. I offer a supportive, grounded space where you don't have to relive everything at once, we focus first on helping you feel steady and in control. Using an integrative, person-centred style with gentle somatic awareness, I support you in rebuilding trust, regulating overwhelm and reconnecting with yourself.

I believe we all carry within us an innate capacity to heal. For many people, that healing begins slowly, with moments of self‑reflection, with learning to trust the quiet, intuitive voice that has often had to stay hidden for safety. Sometimes this inner work invites us to revisit parts of our past, not to relive them, but to gently tend to the wounds that were once too overwhelming to face alone.

My own path into counselling began when I chose to look more closely at my history and meet the psychological challenges that shaped me. As I moved through my own healing, I learned to approach my experiences with compassion rather than judgment. The teachings of writers such as Peter Kingsley and Michael Meade encouraged me to listen more deeply to my inner voice and to honour the unfolding of my own story at a pace that felt right for me.

Through this process, I came to understand the profound impact of being witnessed, of having someone present with steadiness, curiosity, and care. Being accompanied in that way helped me reconnect with parts of myself that had long been silenced. That experience is what led me to become a counsellor. Today, I offer that same grounded, compassionate presence to others: a space where your nervous system can settle, where your story is honoured, and where you can reconnect with your own strength and sense of self.

When we first meet, my starting point is never “What is wrong with you?” but rather “What has happened to you and what has helped you survive?” From there, we move gently and collaboratively, honouring your experiences, exploring what you need, and supporting your journey toward greater safety, connection, and wholeness.
